A company that issues an average of 1000 invoices a month has prevented 1200 tons of carbon emissions per annum, cutting 4800 trees, 15,000 liters of waste water and 156,000 kg of liquid waste per year. E-billing saves 57% for the seller and 62% for the buyer compared to the paper bill. The average printed cost in Turkey is approximately 6 TL. When invisible managerial and labor costs are added, e-invoice have even more advantages for businesses.

E-invoice provides the need for speed in trade life by eliminating the processes of printing, sending, courier, welcome, control, registration and archiving. It takes traditional bills about 5 days to arrive from issue time, while in the E-billing system this time decreaes to about 22 seconds.

E-invoice, which decreases archive costs and submission times, also contributes greatly to the speed and predictability of cash flow through shortening the collection and payment processes of companies. For financial institutions, E-billing is a credibility and collateral indicator and even an easy-to-assign application.  At present, many corporate firms in Turkey has not fully integrated their accounting systems. Therefore, cash flow could not be managed; only efficiency is being sought to increase. This is usually done by bargaining on the one hand with scales on the bank; on the other side, by deferred payments to suppliers. However, with the transition to the e-billing system, financial units can see all the incoming and outgoing invoices to their institutions on a single screen, and can manage all of their cash flows on a daily basis and on an hourly basis.

The cost and time spent for audits are also decreasing by e-billing. Thanks to the application, tax penalties resulting from simple faults can be avoided.

The E-Invoice module is a module integrated and synchronized with the Revenue Department (GİB), where bills belonging to the taxpayer are sent, bills directed by the taxpayer's GİB are received, invoice cases are inquired synchronously from the central unit.

Communication between taxpayers and the module is provided by standard web services. Communication with the E-Invoice module is provided asynchronously and when requested by taxpayers.
