Okan University, one of Turkey's youngest and most dynamic universities, was officially established in 1999 by the Okan Culture, Education and Sports Foundation, and started education in the 2003-2004 academic year. The rapidly growing university has settled in the new and modern Akfırat Campus since the 2006-2007 academic year. Acting with the slogan "The University Closest to Business Life", Okan University brings theory and practice together with its expert academic staff, contemporary approach to education, and practical studies that prepare its students for business life starting from the first year.

Aiming to create a bridge between education and the business world, Okan University enables its students to work in businesses within the scope of the Business Life Preparation Program, starting from the first year. In this way, students get to know business life and gain motivation as well as increasing their knowledge and skills by establishing a relationship between theory and practice. Students who successfully complete the Business Life Preparation Program are given a certificate of participation, and certificates of work experience are added to their diplomas when they graduate.

Okan University generally meets its computing needs from HP. Proliant DL and ML Series are used as servers, and thin clients such as dx 2390, dx2300, dc7100 ultra-slim desktop and t5000 are used on the PCs accessing these servers. HP products purchased in the first project have been working smoothly for about 5 years. Okan University prefers HP to supply products because the devices are durable and stable, there is no support problem on HP's side, and it trusts the quality of the brand. In case of any malfunction, support can be received without any problems, and systems can be upgraded or parts replaced easily. After starting with the dc7100 Ultra-slim Desktop, Okan University was satisfied with this product; 'Due to the case architecture, we can easily operate all kinds of parts as plug and play without even a single screw inside,' he says.Okan University; HP servers are used in critical systems such as network management, backup management, security management, web server, mail server, accounting system, student automation system. Using server-based devices instead of PCs in these applications makes the system faster, more stable and problem-free.

”We are new to the application, but our system has noticeably improved since the products were implemented. We use PCs for users' daily work and for training purposes in the laboratory. We use 80% of the printers in the school connected to the network. Microsoft Dynamics CRM:

The Career Center within Okan University keeps track of its students, graduates and collaborating companies through CRM. Integration with the student system was provided to keep student information up to date. Thanks to the Internet-enabled Portal system developed to work with the CRM System infrastructure, students and graduates can leave their CV information, see open job postings, apply for a job posting, and search for a job that meets their criteria. Collaborating companies can see the applications made to their postings and the information of the applicants with the usernames and passwords given to them, and evaluate the applications. Thanks to the CRM Campaign management module, they can complete the approval processes of events and organizations and track their expenses. Feedback and participation information from the events can also be processed and reported on CRM.
