BBS Brought Together Technology Leaders at the CIO Agenda Event

As Bilgi Birikim Sistemleri (BBS), we brought together technology executives from Türkiye's leading organizations at our “CIO Agenda” event, organized in collaboration with our technology partner VMware by Broadcom.

 

Held in the inspiring atmosphere of Olden 1545, located in a historic building constructed by Mimar Sinan in the 16th century, the event explored digital transformation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, private cloud technologies, and the business value of technology investments.

 

As part of the event, we hosted an exclusive interview series in collaboration with the Speak Up platform, moderated by Sercan Akdemir (Aktuğlu).

 

During the interviews, Çiğdem (Yurdakul) Kılıç from Türkiye Sigorta, Hakan Duran from MARS TECHNOLOGY, and Kazım Cesur from HDI Sigorta shared their experiences and visions for the future of their organizations' technology journeys.

 

The discussions covered a wide range of topics, from digital transformation strategies and cybersecurity to the impact of artificial intelligence on business processes and the value generated by technology investments. The conversations highlighted the strategic priorities and industry experiences of these technology leaders.

 

The event began with an opening address by Bekir Alp Sayın, General Manager of BBS, followed by technology sessions exploring modern approaches to enterprise IT infrastructure transformation.

 

Gökhan Kaya, Server & Storage Business Development Manager at BBS, presented “Private Cloud Transformation with VCF,” highlighting the role of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) in modern data center and private cloud infrastructures.

 

The session explored approaches to transforming existing enterprise IT environments into more flexible, manageable, and scalable private cloud architectures.

 

In another session, Egemen Edrem, Commercial Strategy Leader at VMware by Broadcom, focused on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Optimization and Artificial Intelligence.

 

The discussion addressed the importance of cost efficiency in technology investments, effective utilization of IT resources, and the role of artificial intelligence in enterprise infrastructure strategies.

 

These sessions provided participants with an opportunity to evaluate digital transformation investments not only in terms of technological capabilities but also from the perspectives of operational efficiency and business value.
