Onur Air Information Technologies Manager İsmail Koç, regarding the migration of the e-mail infrastructure to Office 365, Microsoft's cloud system, which was carried out within Onur Air, gave information about Onur Air and its activities in the solution promotional video prepared for the project, and talked about the technological changes experienced during and after the project process. .

“As a corporate strategy, we wanted to move our processes to the digital platform, and after our research, we decided on Microsoft's Office 365 product. The easy use of Exchange and Outlook technologies offered in Office 365 by our employees and the high e-mail quota per user on the cloud were effective in our decision. It was very advantageous for us to reduce the costs of the MS Office product, which is widely used within the company, with the cloud infrastructure and the alternative of using it from the cloud or locally depending on the user type. In addition to an easy-to-manage license infrastructure, existing document management business processes have started to be moved to this environment, thanks to the SharePoint platform that comes with the product.”?
 
HP PROJECT:
 
Onur Air, Turkey's largest and first private airline company with a fleet of 25 aircraft and a seat capacity of 5712, has been serving in the aviation industry with international flights since 1992 and scheduled domestic flights since 2003. Onur Air adopts the principles of flight safety, flight security, on-time operation and affordable flight policies in airline transportation, and continues its work in this direction. Onur Air, which was established on April 14, 1992, made its first flight on May 14, 1992 with an A-320 type aircraft in Northern Cyprus. It was carried out to Turkish Republic Ercan Airport.
 
Onur Air, which tried to restructure in the field of IT in 2001, started to invest in both software, hardware and infrastructure. Can Azun, who started working as IT manager at Onur Air on this date, renewed his server and PC infrastructure with HP. Onur Air, which started domestic scheduled flights in 2003, restructured and renewed all its servers and PCs with HP. Onur Air, which has its own web hosting, has expanded all its hardware, from the LAN switch to the server, needed for domestic flights, ticket sales and reservation systems, with HP, paving the way for higher quality and uninterrupted service to its customers. Since customer satisfaction continued, there was no need to use another brand during this process.
 
In accordance with its corporate policy, Onur Air prefers HP's corporate products for its desktop and portable computers for its more than 600 users. The backbone and management of all Onur Air's IT networks in Turkey and abroad consist of HP branded devices, and peripherals (scanners, printers) use HP products. There are more than 60 HP servers performing domain controller, database, e-mail, web, file and firewall functions in all Turkish and international networks.
